This was originally set-up by @lara, edited by @nathankershaw, and we are using it to both be a useful tool and to explore the use of Wikis on the wider Digital Health Networks forums.
Please use this thread to discuss / debate the merits of HiNZ presentations, the wiki, or wikis in general.
Basically the main difference is that it has an Edit button for anyone to amend.
The edit history is available to see by clicking on the small pencil icon at the top right
I think you can roll back unwanted changes also through that Edit History feature. (If not, then I certainly can do it as an admin)
I’m still trying to catch up with my life post Wngtn. Will have to save my dips into HiNZ video for a bit and live vicariously through the rest of you… thanks in advance!
Hm, it looks like if we continue in a wiki manner the thread will appear to be dead.
@lara was there a specific reason(s) why you wanted it to be a wiki or shall we convert it to a typical thread so we can see new activity on it more easily? … I too would like to see what other people rated as good talks, etc.
If each of us remembers either going to a good one while in Welly or seeing one on webcast, even if you don’t have time to search for a link to the video, just post some details here so that @ruth.large, @lara, @eras and others can have another procrastination activity up our sleeve
Come on @nz-network, we’ve got to keep ourselves alive here!
@lara suggested it as a way of exploring the capability. The wider forum hasn’t made use of it as yet, and @pacharanero was willing to let us play with it. The dead appearance is a real problem which makes the wiki thing a bit defunct as it stands.
Please persist with it as a Wiki for now - and post that you have made an edit. If the issue is sorted, we won’t be able to post anyway.
As has been mentioned, you NZers are the first to make use of the Wiki functionality properly, so it may take a bit of honing to get things just right, but it’s all useful learning for me and for the Networks at large. I’d like to see much greater use of the Wiki to organise knowledge, so you are trailblazing this.
