Welcome to the Emerging Health Technology Yammer group, which supports the aims of the Ministry of Health to ensure that the health and disability support system works for all New Zealanders. By your use of this group you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our Privacy Policy (https://www.health.govt.nz/about-site/privacy-and-security) govern the Emerging Health Technology’s relationship with you in relation to this website.

The term Emerging Health Technology or EHT or ‘us’ or ‘we’ or ‘our’ refers to this website developed by the Ministry of Health to provide support to the health sector of New Zealand. The term ‘you’ or ‘your’ refers to the user or viewer of this website.

Participating in the EHT Yammer group

To participate in discussions hosted on the EHT Yammer group (or subgroups), post a comment, add content to the site, you will need a valid email address to confirm your registration. Please only register once.
Any personal information you choose to provide will be used for the purposes and administration of this area and treated in accordance with the EHT privacy policy.

User Guidelines

The Ministry of Health established EHT Yammer group in 2018 to improve the health and wellbeing of New Zealanders by sharing examples of innovation and research by making it available to people working in health.

How to submit content

This is a platform where you can participate in any discussion, add your profile or share your knowledge with your colleagues across New Zealand.

Who can submit content?

We encourage clinicians, researchers, technologists and policy-makers to share their professional experience and insights by submitting material to the EHT Yammer site.

Some rules for publication

  • Participation in the EHT Yammer group constitutes agreement to the following rules, which apply to comments, profile information, any other content on this site, and participation in general.
  • Only post items that are relevant to the scope of the site.
  • When posting to discussions, be courteous and respect other contributors’ viewpoints.
  • In accordance with New Zealand law, do not use language that can be considered discriminatory on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexual preference, nationality, age, disability, etc.
  • Do not use this site to breach court orders or make allegations about people.
  • Your contributions must not be personally abusive. Never use threatening language or terms. Do not use swear words, or defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise illegal material.
  • Do not put whole words or sentences in capital letters or make excessive use of exclamation marks.
  • Do not repeatedly post comments on the same topic that do not substantially address the content of the particular item being commented on.
  • Photographs and video may be posted to the site. EHT reserves the right to store electronically any pictures sent in by contributors.
  • Do not post copyrighted materials (articles, videos, audio, etc.) that you do not have permission to reproduce or distribute. For text articles, most of the time you may quote a small portion of the article and link to, or provide, the source. Posting the entire article, even with the source, often constitutes copyright infringement.
