All CiLN members should have received an email (see below) last week with information about the network and this forum. All new members will also receive this info and if you know someone who may be interested in joining, please pass this on.
Note the link to register for our next national meeting in May and that we will start publishing a CiLN newsletter this month.
CiLN member email:
Welcome to the Clinical Informatics Leadership Network, a NZ-based, multi-disciplinary and responsive health network for people with a clinical background and interest in data and/or digital.
CiLN uses the Discourse platform to communicate. This was set up by the UK’s Digital Health Networks and means you can share ideas and questions with colleagues in the UK as well as NZ.
When you register for Discourse you will be tagged as a CiLN member so only NZ-based topics will be made prominent. Some short videos on using Discourse are available on our Member Tips page or when you are logged in to the forum, see this New User Guide or send the Discobot a Message to start a tutorial.
CiLN holds two national meetings. These coincide with the HiNZ mid-year (May) and end of year (November) conferences. Details of these events are posted on Discourse. The next event is on 5 May, you can register here.
You can keep up-to-date with CiLN news and read member profiles on our webpage and new monthly newsletter, starting in March.
Membership of CiLN is free thanks to the support of HiNZ. If you are not already, we encourage all CiLN members to become a HiNZ member.
To read more about CiLN see our information page and FAQ page.
Kind regards,
Karen Blake, Ruth Large and Nathan Kershaw
