Aki Hauora app - gamified learning of Te Reo in Health

This is super cool, and has been developed either by or for medical students at the University of Otago (I think):

It seems to be only available as native apps (not via the web unfortunately so I can’t embed it), but I guess that suits many people. Here is a screenshot:

I think it has been around for a while, but I’ve just missed it. Anyone else come across it?

The gamification is a great idea. Having a “streak” on Duolingo has kept me learning for the past 1487 days. I know its just a number on a screen, but the fear of losing that streak keeps me going even when I really can’t be bothered.
