Women in HealthTech Wellington Event

If you are attending the Biotech Life Sciences Summit or happen to be in Wellington on the 11 March, this event is free and open to all…

Calling all women in health or technology that are thinking about extending their impact beyond the lab or clinic.

Join us for our panel discussion From Bench to Boardroom**,** as we focus on the transition from specialist expertise to strategic leadership. This session brings together two exceptional leaders, Professor Emily Parker and Professor Cather Simpson, who have transitioned from academia into executive and governance positions.

Kylie Price, Hugh Green Fellow and Chief Technology Officer for the Malaghan Institute will facilitate the panel discussion. Kylie will be asking our panel to reflect on the skills they believe scientists bring to boards, and the practical steps worth considering for those interested in executive leadership.
Together, we’ll discuss the realities of making that shift, what helped along the way, and what they wish they had known earlier.

Why should you attend? If you are actively considering your next move or simply exploring what leadership might look like for you, we hope the conversation will offer perspective and insights. Or if you wanting to create connections join us for a relaxed and informal chance to reconnect and grow your network.

This is a no cost event is open to Women in HealthTech members (join here for free) and those attending the Biotech Life Sciences Summit.
