Waitemata DHB have implemented an auditing tool called MEG that uses mobile technology to overcome the clipboard process that exists in most hospitals doing audits. The new process also includes recording photos of issues/problems, and the management of those issues which currently get lost in an email trial because there is no formal process.
MEG solves the problem of localised storage of excel audits scattered around the hospital with a Cloud based dashboard available for management.
