If you thought the limitations of fibre was an issue, then these guys may have found the answer, not sure if its the best approach?

In the past two weeks, SpaceX and ISRO have put 95 new satellites into orbit. India’s PSLV launch on November 29, 2018 carried 31 satellites to orbit while SpaceX’s Falcon 9 had 64 satellites onboard the December 3 launch.

It definitely will. Not only that, COMSAT-based comms. has to contend with environmental factors that will affect the overall effectiveness and relaibility of this RF-based comms. medium.

Yes and I’m not sure there are any agreements about how many is too many, and there’s no agreement about what happens to dead satellites creating space waste.
