Interesting list to which skills are on the move, are we preparing ourselves?
These are the top 10 skills you will need in the workplace in 2020.
I would add “building networks” to the skills list. I don’t think we are close to ending traditional organisational hierarchies, but more and more, clinicians and health leaders will need to rely on networks of connected people across different organisational boundaries to get the best for their patient/consumers.

As a family (2 parents, and 2 late year college students) we went to a presentation last night by Professor Richard Shaw, Director of Arts at Massey University.
"Richard will speak about the 4th Industrial Revolution/automation, the changing nature of work, and the challenges all of that poses for decision-making around tertiary choices.
At a time when students are thinking about where to head after school and what their future might look like, this will give you a chance to think about whether or not our current assumptions regarding employability are going to stand up in the brave new world of digitisation".
One of the key takeaways was that while we can teach tech in the workplace, what we need to be looking for are soft skills.
In other words he was very much in agreement.
