I’m curious about around the world I’m hearing increasing recogntiion that digitally enabled care relies heavily on MDT input. How do we ensure STAH is not simply included in that conversation but helps lead it?
What is the proportion of AI scribe adoption within NZ and is it equivocal across different settings? Rural/Urban/Primary/Secondary/Tertiary care?
Given the current cost cutting measures being done at HNZ, are you finding that graduates are able to find digital health roles, or are they struggling like general IT/IS students?
What key challenges do you face in curating digital health courses for the clinical workforce of today?

I’m leaving this question for STAH but imho being seen and discussing topics that matter helps.
What is the proportion of AI scribe adoption within NZ and is it equivocal across different settings? Rural/Urban/Primary/Secondary/Tertiary care?
This varies enormously both in adoption and extent of use within that adoption. Primary care were early adopters but not all use scribes, then it was rolled out in the ED departments. There is little published data on adoption beyond this.
Given the current cost cutting measures being done at HNZ, are you finding that graduates are able to find digital health roles, or are they struggling like general IT/IS students?
Some graduates are already in digital health roles and seeking further education - they are unfortunately subject to the same churn that is happening with the reforms/reset/realignment change. For other graduates it very much depends on being in the right place and the right time, taking advantage of any opportunities including voluntary. Having qualifications helps.
What key challenges do you face in curating digital health courses for the clinical workforce of today?
Rapity of change. This makes keeping material up to date a constant requirement. Plus we have to stay upto date ourselves.
