Here are the slides from yesterday’s SNOMED NZ hui. Thanks to everyone who attended. Our next event is pencilled in for 11.00 am 15 October 2024, followed on 2 December by our promised SNOMED Working Bee at Digital Health Week NZ

Hot topics yesterday:

• Te Reo Māori language reference set and its applications
• Reference sets to support public health
• Relationship of LOINC and NZPOCS and their adoption by labs (look out for our HISO Lab Forum in July 2024)
• Using SNOMED to report hospital acquired infections and communicable diseases
• Getting new SNOMED refsets developed - example of sports injuries
