SNOMED NZ Edition April 2024 Now Available on NZHTS

The April 2024 release of SNOMED CT New Zealand Edition is now live and available through the New Zealand Health Terminology service (NZHTS).

How to Access the Content

The content can be viewed online using the SNOMED CT browser and accessed via API using NZHTS.

Accessing the new content is straightforward via NZHTS. Here are a couple of example queries:

1. Common route of administration reference set (SCTID 361531000210107)
   To explore the new content, use the following query to retrieve the reference set. This query expands the specified RefSet, allowing you to access the full list of routes of administration included in the April 2024 release.

2. Existing reference sets
   If you are interested in accessing one of the existing reference sets, you can utilise a similar API query strucure:
   e.g. New Zealand biological substance common allergen reference set (SCTID 61241000210100)
