@nz-ciln-advisory was asked by the Regional CIO Forum two weeks ago how many clinicians have protected time in their clinical informatics roles. This kicked off a quick poll of @nz-ciln here in the Forum, with 41% of CiLN members answering. The headlines:
- 66% of respondents are paid to do some informatics. The amount is extremely variable.
- While some do exactly what they are paid, some do informatics work far in excess of their paid informatics hours
