One of the side-effects of us being kindly granted this corner of the Digital Health Networks is that we all receive the communications from Digital Health, the UK based media organisation that runs it. It is possible to stop these emails, and @jhoeksma is willing to do so; in fact we did so last year. However, it seems that many of us are back on it.
In order to fix this once and for all, it will take a significant structural change at their end. But we need to know how many of us Kiwis actually want the Digital Health content. With a recent UK background I find it very useful, but I suspect not many Kiwis do.
This will help us craft a solution that serves us all.
I do find some of it interesting but in the interest of time, I often end up deleting a number of files without reading them if the headings aren’t of particular interest to me. Thanks.
Hi Lara - was sad that I didn’t get to hang out with you at Hack Aotearoa.
Apologies for the ambiguity; but I can’t edit it without losing the results. You got it right -
Yes - please keep them coming
No - please stop them
I’m a little shocked with the results so far as I didn’t think that anyone wanted UK stuff. It is making me think that perhaps we should make the UK forum content (which can be brilliant) more visible to Kiwis as well.
Thank you to everyone who answered this poll; we will not close off emails from the UK’s Digital Health. If you don’t want them, it is relatively simple to ‘unsubscribe’ to them using the link on the Digital Health emails (for you @jon_herries!)
