I’ve just embarked upon a bit of site maintenance, and have streamlined the signup mechanism significantly.
We were collecting several bits of data that we weren’t using. Therefore, I have removed them, simplifying the process for new users significantly. This is now what they get:
I’ve also simplified the Wizard that follows it, and removed the Mihi posting functionality which was barely used:
When I’ve got some more time, I’ll deprecate the Wizard entirely and replace it with a new mechanism that doesn’t require user interaction (i.e. slicker).
Also, @SamuelWong - is it about the right time to implement My Health Account authentication? Currently, we only have Google and GitHub. LinkedIn can follow without too much bother. Microsoft doesn’t work unless the specific entity (e.g. Health NZ) allows it in their domain; doable but only if someone can help me navigate the bureaucracy!!!
