Open AI in Healthcare: is there a group in NZ building Machine Learning models in academia?

Kia ora koutou, Is there a group in NZ of computer science technicians, not employed by industry, working with clinical researchers/academics? I’m keen to start seeing how both education and my research interests can be augmented

This was triggered after being introduced to this amazing resource, which I’d highly recommend exploring: https://www.vanderschaar-lab.com/mission/

This first webinar is what we all need to be thinking about for our future clinical workforce:

The computer science people in the Faculty of Science of any university have a lot to offer. Also the ISOM group (information systems and operations management) at the Business School at UoA do a lot of health research and include AI in their work.

@Rosie and @L_Spencer - would you be willing to add a link to the eHealth Forum to that website for discussions on this?

This would be most suitable:

https://ehealthforum.nz/tag/ai

Or we could make it more specific to AI research
