Online pharmacy bypasses visits to the high street pharmacy

Online pharmacy Pilldrop is offering home delivery of prescription medicines - launching in Auckland in January, and planning to expand to Christchurch by June followed by other centres across NZ.

Deliveries will cost $15 and standard prescriptions will be free. To use Pilldrop, patients take a photo of their prescriptions and upload it to a personal account on Pilldrop’s website. Patients can order repeat prescriptions as well. They can talk to a pharmacist on a dedicated phone line at any time of the day.

@Andi_Shirtcliffe have you come across these guys?
