NZCDI — 2026 draft release | Health Professionals

We welcome your participation in the development of NZ Core Data for Interoperability.
Please email standards@tewhatuora.govt.nz to submit your comments.

Feedback on this draft release is open until 31 August 2026.

You are also welcome to fill out the submission form to submit your request for a new data element in our next release.

Dumb question. You know how Pharmac has removed the ethnicity criterion for access to some medications - flu vaccine and now for diabetes type 2? I am just wondering if that would impact the ability to see if proactive measures to improve health equity worked.

Well, since many of those measures have been dismantled over the last couple of years - yes!
