Northern Region Hospital at Home reaches 120 daily patients

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://www.hinz.org.nz/news/724080/

Which medical device(s) is H@H service using to measure patients? “The wearable currently being used by H@H allows the team to monitor six different vital signs (HR, BP, RR, SPO2, Temperature and ECG), along with cardiac algorithms.”

I’m not sure - does anyone here have much to do with the Hospital in the Home program in the Northern region?

I note that Erik McClain (the lead clinician) was a speaker at the Virtual Hospital Symposium run by NZ Telehealth. @Ruth_Large - any chance you can connect him to this?

When approached, Erik kindly shared this:

The wearable HitH uses is Biobeat and the intermittent devices are iHealth. These seem to be working just fine.

Please send any queries my way either on LinkedIn or at emcclain@adhb.govt.nz.
