Message from the Chair of HiNZ-NMI
Kia ora koutou,
Welcome to this edition of the Nursing and Midwifery Digital Health Newsletter! It’s wonderful to connect with you again as we continue to celebrate and strengthen the incredible digital leadership happening across our professions.
I’m especially excited about our upcoming Nursing and Midwifery Digital Health Workshop, which promises to be a highlight of the year. It’s shaping up to be an inspiring day of connection, learning, and innovation - a chance to share ideas, explore practical tools, and see how digital health is helping us deliver more responsive, person-centred care. Whether you’re new to digital health or already leading change, this event is for you.
Across Aotearoa New Zealand, nurses and midwives are driving digital transformation, from implementing new data tools that improve patient outcomes, to ensuring equity and accessibility in the use of health technology. Your mahi is helping shape a smarter, safer, and more connected health system for all New Zealanders.
Thank you for all that you do. I look forward to seeing many of you at the workshop and continuing this exciting digital journey together!
Ngā mihi nui,
Carey Campbell @Carey
