New here and inquiring about nursing informatics jobs

Hi,
I’m not sure if this is allowed but I read the description of each category and this category seems appropriate for me to ask about Informatics Nursing. If not, please redirect me. Do you know if there are any nursing informatics jobs in the country? If so, kindly advise. Many many thanks.

Hi Eshe
I don’t think there is a jobs section in this forum, but perhaps there should be!
Certainly being active on this platform, being a member of HiNZ and connecting via their events can help you to find out about any jobs that may be going in this space.
As Kate said, feel free to ask any other questions you may have and hopefully someone can answer them!

Hi Eshe

You are in the right place! The HiNZ Nursing and Midwifery Informatics group are mix of nurses and midwives working in clinical, industry, education and management roles.

You can sign up to get the HiNZ NMI newsletter – its free (https://www.hinz.org.nz/page/HiNZ-NMINewsletters).

Sometimes jobs come through the list, but otherwise keep an eye on the HiNZ website https://www.hinz.org.nz/networking/opening_search.asp

Also, if you want to meet people interested in informatics and get a sense of what is going on in terms of digital initiatives in NZ then consider coming to the annual HiNZ conference – this year it’s being held in Hamilton https://www.hinz.org.nz/page/homeDHWNZ23.

We have a eNursing and Midwifery Workshop on the Tuesday, if you are looking to connect more with that community, but the whole event has lots of people interested in health informatics – and the trade and exhibition area is usually packed. It’s a good place for meeting people and getting your self known

I think that route has now changed - she should already be getting the newsletter as she is a nursing member of the eHealth Forum. @emma.collins - is that correct?
