I’ve stumbled across a pretty sweet free and open source alternative - ourboard.io
Here is an unsecured example Board demonstrating the functionality:

Security-wise, the freely available online version only allows this via Google accounts, which isn’t much help for our Microsoft-centric health IT estates.
If more security was required, we could potentially run our own self-hosted version and have it authenticated by the eHealth Forum directly.
