Ministry of Health’s Data and Digital Directorate - Emerging Health Technologies is hosting it’s third annual MedTech TIKI (Technology and Innovation Knowledge Interchange) Tour in partnership with CMDT and MedTech CoRE.
This is an innovation showcase to highlight the latest in New Zealand healthcare technologies & research for hospital and home, and facilitate discussions with companies and researchers.
The showcase will run over 3 hours so please come at any time that suits you, our exhibitors will be available from 11:00am - 2:00pm at our 133 Molesworth St Office to discuss their work and answer any questions you have.
This year’s TIKI Tour is an opportunity to understand the NZ landscape around:
Assistive Technology - including technologies that support hearing impediments, pelvic floor training, patient lifting
AI-based Technology - decision support for ECG analysis, diabetic retinopathy screening
Cancer Care - including technologies used to assist with recovery in patients who have an enterocutaneous fistula or loop ileostomy
Diabetes - including work from the National Institute of Health Informatics (NIHI) group around diet, delivered through an app
