I hope so! Would have been good to know if/how NZ health software vendors will approach this.

I have no doubt this will have impact globally. The thing that the healthcare sector needs to think about, is how can we get better at shaping ourselves to support new innovations and ways of working? I think the biggest challenge is that its very difficult to change the architecture of large health organisations - and this is often critical to effectively embed a disruptive innovation.
Here is a good article from the Financial Times that mentions Rebecca Henderson, who wrote about architectural innovation way back in 1990.
