We are currently advertising for a part time Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our growing Wellington team. This current position is for a fixed term to cover a vacancy, but further permanent positions are planned in the near future. This role would suit a registered health professional from any discipline who is interested in a career in health informatics.

We have just advertised a further position for a Hospital Services ICT Portfolio Manager for the three Wellington DHBs. Further roles in clinical informatics will also be advertised over the next month or so.
Inga, how are things working for Kiwis with the AIDH? Back in the ACHI days last year there was a membership / fellowship open to Kiwis.
There is still that option with AIDH. All existing ACHI members/fellows who paid the membership fee with AIDH were made inaugural members/fellows of AIDH. Same sort of process to be a new member/fellow. We are just streamlining the process a bit and doing some tweaking. Also sorting out fees if member of HINZ and AIDH so don’t have to pay more than a member of AIDH as an Aussie. At the moment fees are discounted anyway for this year so not any more than was for ACHI. Maybe I need to do a blurb about AIDH fellowship to remind Kiwis that the option is there.
