Issues paper release - Technological change and the future of work | Productivity Commission of New Zealand

The Government has asked the Productivity Commission to examine how New Zealand can maximise the opportunities and manage the risks of disruptive technological change and its impact on the future of work and the workforce.

This issues paper presents four scenarios for considering the future impacts of technological change.

The release of this issues paper is the first stage of the inquiry, after which we will release a series of reports for further feedback.
•5 June 2019 - Submissions due on issues paper
•August - November 2019 - Series of reports for feedback
•31 March 2020 - Final report delivered to the Government
