The group of five standards development organisations working together on the International Patient Summary (IPS) have issued a discussion paper on the future of the IPS as a global public good. NZ Patient Summary (NZPS) is our fully confirming adaptation of the IPS, now at version 1, so we have a stake in this. The paper is well worth a look. Happy to receive ideas here for a HISO submission.

In addition to the NZ derivation, we also have a stake in supporting the base (cross-international border) global version of the IPS.
