At the NZRise ICT Procurement workshop in Wellington this morning. Interesting thoughts from Stuart Wakefield (CIO - MoE). He suggests a need to think about how we build products for NZ Inc at the same time we build solutions for the [health system].
Examples like localisation and multi-language support are things required for a product. We need to think early about how this is done effectively.
Very valid thinking, things like this and accessibility are often left to the end, and to build great products, this needs to be part of the core.
