A rapidly deployed multi-professional health practitioner community for New Zealand in response to COVID-19
healthforum.nz is now live and invite only. Our ICU physician colleagues are going to be the first community in there. Psych are also ready to go, so they will to. Anaesthesia will shortly follow.
I’d like to invite all @nz-ciln members to join. It would be very helpful if you have clinical chatter about COVID-19 in the All Health Practitioners category, and suggestions for improvements in the Site Feedback section.
You’ll receive an invite link shortly. Please add a photo to your profile as I’m trying to establish this as an expectation.
Hello Nathan
Do you need to be a member to join this group? How do you think other medical groups will be engaged with this, other than the ones you have already mentioned. There is a need for a National approach to any strategies that are required?
Thanks
You need an invite, most of which are coming through me. However, we are rapidly developing a way that people can join just via an open link securely. All CiLN members have been invited.
I’m not sure; it depends on whether they see the need and / or have the capacity to take it onboard while under stress. Certainly every speciality of doctors I speak to seem excited about it.
Yes; that is the whole point. Our leadership structures are under severe stress, and we need national sharing of ideas and collaboration on an unprecedented scale at the mo.
