Health Forum NZ - ready and waiting if anyone needs a Forum

Health Forum NZ has the capability to host any private forum related to health; all we need is for people to think of it and ask. While starting as a COVID-19 response, it is now making the transition to a long term asset.

If you are involved with a national not-for-profit health organisation who is looking for a solution to engage with members beyond the limitations of emails and video calls, or who is struggling on with a Facebook group or outdated online forum software, it could be just the thing.

As per CiLN, healthforum.nz is supported by HiNZ, and runs on the same software platform (Discourse). It has been setup and is maintained by CiLN members as a volunteer effort.

Hi @NathanK

Thank you for this - I think I missed the original invitation email to health forum - just wondering how I can get access now?

Thanks

Kia ora @Erin, if you click on the link in Nathan’s post, this should take you to the sign-up page, which has been stream-lined, so hopefully not to onerous. Hope to see you there  It’s great we have here and there  emily

Thanks heaps @emily.gill

Well, with the announcement of Health NZ suddenly Health Forum NZ has a very auspicious name.

Whilst we are looking at repositioning it as the NZ-based home of digital health discussion (including CiLN), perhaps we should also consider a wider role for it in this new phase of national cooperation that appear to be embarking upon.

Any thoughts? It isn’t something that I could do alone.
