Happy to connect with Jon and others from MoH and Medsafe this week. I’m working on the translation of an AI system into a clinical setting. My interests are all the generic considerations for translation of AI systems, and more specifically for incorporating AI into a diabetes retinal screening programme. Keen to connect with others working to close the translation gap between a research grade AI system, and an application fit for clinical use. Also interested in the validation process of the AI system that precedes the translation, and the regulation of both phases.
