Had a great conversation with MFAT about their China Capable programme last week - available for anyone in government inc. DHBs ( https://chinacapable.org.nz/ ). They are working on a new scenario based training approach for becoming culturally skilled in working in China. This like those choose your own adventure books except it is combined with e-learning (so not just reading boring slides). Turns out:
Might help us work with Chinese people in New Zealand as well - Eileen has been talking to the e-Learning leads from the DHBsWe should think about how these tools/approach could help us work more effectively with Māori and other disadvantaged groups in health (action on us is to talk to Māori Health here at the Ministry)We should think about how we fit this with Virtual Reality to make this a more immersive experience.

The MFAT people are busy until July delivering the china capable scenarios - if you are interested in helping on a POC around this from them, please let us know.
