I’ve asked for details on false positive rate, cost-effectiveness, health outcomes data and whether it is approved as a medical device by the FDA. Will post here if I hear back.

There’s been numerous ‘initiatives’ about calling 111 (or emergency services numbers), but the biggest issue is any emergency services lines Call handlers are scripted to have a triage system with their Computer Aided Dispatch system (e.g. ProQA), which means nothing gets through if it’s robotic ‘good intentions’ unless Spark (who holds the 111 service triage) and Emergency Ambulance Communication Centre systems are aligned. Potential = causes confusions and delays = if not aligned.
