News this month is that support for FHIR R4B and R5 is coming to the Firely suite of tools and Simplifier, platform for the FHIR NZ Registry
The FHIR NZ Registry is the home to the developing NZIPS FHIR IG, our adaptation of the International Patient Summary (IPS)
All good, but R5 is still at least a year away from release and has some major changes, so we need to focus on R4. R4B will probably be released in Q2 2022 and won’t contain any breaking changes (only some new resources and additional operations) so it should be seamless upgrade.
