England's health data is about to flow more freely, like it or not - Palantir & NHS England (article from the Guardian)

This is well worth a read if you wish to understand England’s most imminent digital health disaster:

May we learn from their mistakes, is all I can say.

If private corporations want information to help building databases for future software, I wonder if a better way forward would be to allow the patient to “sell” their information?
I think the problem with the public buy in is due to the government making money with their information.
If a patient decides to share information and be rewarded for it, I’m sure there would be a market for it.

It could be advertised in health locations, and a form/contract is completed to be shared between the health authority and the corporation. The patient selects the information they wish to share.

It would be limited to adults only as data for paediatrics would be a whole big mess around reward and consent.
