I’m keenly anticipating the Digital Health Week NZ 2019 in November. Thanks to all those who are working hard to put this together.
I’ve noticed that there is a potential clash with the Interoperability Standards workshop and the CiLN meeting (both on the Tuesday).
As a clinician I would very much like to go to the interoperability standards session, as I feel this is where the greatest challenges lie in NZ in the coming years, getting our “best of breed” systems to work together. However as a DHB clinical lead for IT, I would be disappointed to miss the CiLN session.
I’m not sure there is an easy solution though without creating further clashes. Possibilities could include Monday morning or Fri afternoon for the CiLN meeting, but this may limit attendance of people who need to travel (Hamilton not being quite as easy to get to and from as Wellington).
Do any others see this as a potential clash and can anyone think of any creative suggestions??
Cheers
