Health Informatics New Zealand (HiNZ) and the Digital Health Association (DHA) are co-leading New Zealand’s flagship digital health event in 2026, which is being redesigned to better serve the entire data and digital health ecosystem.

Ooh I wish I don’t miss out on sponsored entry this time. Does anyone know if Te Whatu Ora will offer these this year? I know I deserve it ICAMHS, Whakatāne, 20 years of devoted frontline service
Hi Jody. We haven’t yet agreed what passes Health NZ will be offering this year, but they have indicated to us their ongoing support for which we are really grateful. The best people to contact to stay in the loop are @Yeok or @eduddy via Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora email addresses. Here at HiNZ we will definitely keep you updated!
Interested - depending on price …. it’s all getting a little out of hand what we have to spend to try and attend these sorts of events.. Will it be live streamed the speakers notes available after?
Hi Matt, the price this year will be markedly lower than last year - meaning it will be more affordable. Livestreaming adds a signifcant additional cost to running the event, so to be in a position where we can offer affordable tickets we decided not to do this. We are really lucky that ContentedAI has agreed to support us again, so we will have the sessions summarised and produced in paper format like we did at last years conference. Research tells us written summaries of events are generally read more than videos are watched, and our data supports this, so we feel this is the right call. It’s good to remember that HiNZ and DHA are both not-for-profits, so we don’t aim to make money over the whole year. Every cent we get in via sponsorship and ticket revenue goes straight back in to the running of our organisations, and means we can continue to provide all the free things we do to people - like this online community, the webinars, the free newsletters and media. The existence of HiNZ relies on people becoming members, sponsoring us, and paying to attend our events. We really value all the support we get through all these avenues.
