What is this? It sounds intriguing
Hi @NathanK post HINZ last year we have commenced a Digital Champions group that is made up of staff from across the DHB with a mixture of skills that meet on a monthly to discuss items in relation to clinical IT, we try to have a presenter with a focus on an application or issue that has been raised by them. It is then their job to disseminate this information back to their teams. We have been going for about 4 months and so far have had some great robust discussions. We brought them a small badge that they can wear to indicate that they are digital champions. It has been great to see an MDT approach to solving issues with admin, nursing, allied health and medicine around the table at a very grass roots level.
This sounds brilliant; it sounds like you have a mini-CiLN within your organisation.
How do you communicate?
It would be relatively easy to set your crew up in a space here in Discourse if that would be helpful; this may usefully connect them with others doing similar things around the country too.
Thanks @NathanK, I will keep that in mind currently we are using our internal intranet and email and I will be creating a Teams channel for them when we have that up and running in the new year. I will let them know about this discourse and see what the consensus
is about coming on board, trying not to scare them with too much too soon.
