Clinical Informatics presenting at HiNZ... who's in?

Hi all
I’m interested to see how we are planning on representing the Clinical value of digital and data at HiNZ conference… who has ideas they are putting in?
One thing I am happy to help with for those less familiar in writing abstracts is help with these, I spent most of my clinical life writing these for national and international conferences. No idea is too left field if it shows the value add of clinicians in this field!
I’d love to hear some ideas on what’s coming through to inspire others…

Hi Alex, I’d love your help please?
I would like to present on nurse led, aged care nurses co-designed clinical software which we developed over the past 18 months. It’s now bring used in 78 sites across nz with 4800 users. Reports are that it saves between 3 to 5 hours of nursing time per admission. With 15515 admissions into aged care in 2020, if that time saving had been gained for each and every admission that would have helped significantly in reducing the pressure from the current nursing workforce shortage. Kind regards

Hi Alex

I am drafting an abstract and hoping to present on how we used data to set up, monitor, increase visibility and improve a new Allied health service in an emergency department setting. This project will be a template for our services moving forward to articulate our value add to patients and our organisation. I might flick you an email of it before I submit if you can glance at it?

Thanks

@beckywlsn sounds good! There are some folk who have done work in this space within CiLN and the NAHSTIG membership too.

@beckywlsn awesome to have you here. Outcomes are so important and measuring these is done so differently across the country both system and measurement wise. It’s a great topic for discussion and to see who is evaluating.

Have enlisted a couple of colleagues to present and have and have an extension for the abstract as they had to finish their incident work
