AR for content sharing in hospital - ARKit, ARCore, Vuforia etc - anyone got these in use in a ward?

Hello forum,

We have almost finished refurnishing lots of Whanau Rooms around Auckland Hospital. We would like to tell the story that underpins them (tikanga, history, funding etc), but we want to find a way to tell the story without using TVs or posters (which push information at you, often when you need it least, and we know hospitals are over loaded with visual and audio noise already). Also TVs and posters take up room and can ruin the desired experience of a good Whanau room. So, we’re thinking AR may be worth exploring. The idea that a person can hold their phone over an image (ideally not a QR code…), and have their phone play content to them without clicking a website link.

Does anyone in this forum have AR in use in this way? Do we have any partner commercial firms my project team could talk to?

Thanks!
