Good point Lara.

Making the eHealth Forum open is the clear way to address this. The machinery is in place to do that - at least for new Topics. Consent is vital.

I’ll talk to the ESR people that Lara introduces me to, and ask them what they’d like to make public (they may not even wish to tell me their current plans, if they are still working on something more complete). Then between us we can publish an answer to my original question that they are happy with.

Good plan.

There is another much more private way to connect folk who are currently outside of the eHealth Forum:

Make a personal message, and address it to their email address (in addition to the eHealth Forum members you wish to include).

Discourse is smart enough to communicate to them via email (including replies), compile the thread here, and create a staging account for them behind the scenes, which will subsequently be upgraded to a full account if and when they join.

I’ve set this so that it can be done by Trust Level 2 (Member) and above, but we could make it available to all if needed.
