AI scribes survey for clinicians and health service managers

Kia ora koutou,

If you are a clinician or healthcare service manager, please take part in a 5-10 minute University of Auckland survey about AI scribes (you don’t need to have used an AI scribe). We are seeking perspectives on how AI scribes are being implemented and used across different organisations and services. Survey results (alongside interviews, literature, and hui) will be used to develop guidance for maximising the benefits and minimising the risk of AI scribes in clinical care in Aotearoa.

To find out more or to participate: Do the AI Scribes Survey.

This research is led by Associate Professor Vanessa Selak (@vanessaselak) and funded by the Health Research Council of New Zealand (approved by the Auckland Health Research Ethics Committee AH30390).

I note that our @rradecki, @Rosie, and @Riki are co-investigators. Bravo!

I’ve just done the AI scribes survey, and it is nicely put together (and not too painful!). 5-10 minutes is spot on.

This is a vitally important bit of NZ-based research, looking at our local attitudes and approaches to AI scribes. I’d encourage everyone to do the survey, and to spread it around their less digitally inclined colleagues.
