At Waitemata DHB we have started a new AI Governance Group that has representatives from clinical, Maori, research, consumers, legal, data, IT, privacy/security, ethics etc. This group is reviewing proposals for new AI to be developed with DHB data, validated or implemented in clinical practice. We have developed a checklist and a template for making proposals. We are just working on some comms around this within the DHB and publicly - and I will share here as soon as we do. Please let me know if you are interested in reviewing the material.
