What does the future hold for AI in medical devices?
Latest on AI and when it becomes a med device.
@dianasiew, ty for sharing. This is one of those rare AI articles that I like. I totally loved the honesty of saying that many apps are junk. I write AI apps and most are at best a means to an end not an end in themselves.
AI naturally lends itself to making a major contribution in this domain dominated by convergent thinking. That the FDA has put safety guardrails and labelling is impressive and we should copy (steal) it.
While the regulation and governance of some AI domains naturally lend themselves to an international approach. Others do not, thinking of anything that touches divergent social realities and indigenous cultural perspectives.
