That’s excellent @NathanK and is an excellent call to arms. It covers the issues that need to be addressed in a sane way. Implicit is the investment by NHS England, at least, in Clinical Governance and Health System Management.
This is the sort of discussion that needs to be championed by the new national CCIO with CiLN and other digital leaders getting behind him (assuming it’s Will Reedy).

I’m not sure, but I have heard that @Dr_Will_Reedy is moving in a slightly different direction; I’m sure that he’ll have plenty of opportunity to lead others to embrace several of the points in the article though!
Interesting, I am very out of the loop. Will would have been a brilliant choice. I wonder who the new CCIO is, then?
Still, the point stands. Change of this sort needs to be led at the national level and delivered locally by the local Health Informatic specialists & communities of interest.
