We are going to be doing a little podcast experiment. This involves talking to some people here at the Ministry of Health to understand what they think about technology and how they think it will impact on health in the future.

The course is not until July and I am always looking for good material to give to students, especially those working or interested in working in digital health. But any podcast in July-October, they could join in real-time maybe.

I think a perspective from the DG would be good, in fact why not the entire exec. Would also be interested in a mix of our ministry workforce across the directorates.

What does the investment case for digital technologies look like - how will we assess ROI in 5/10 years? If that comes out at an outcome-based, value-based, productivity set of metrics (drivers for adoption), then how is our transition to those KPIs progressing?

I like this idea. We should be leading the trends or linking into the trends in the system (which you guys do a great job of doing in your workshop days).
You might want to put disclaimers on the podcasts that this is opinion. The Ministry has been known to talk out the future of technology and then not deliver.
Maybe something about the challenges in investing in new technology from the government sector, bending the curve on peoples persception (or fears) on technology, how to reach disadvanted groups (Maori, Pacifika, older persons, those with ESL)

This will be interesting Jon. You have moved to broadcast producer! How about someone in the Ministry to discuss technology in the Maori and Pacifica Health space. What they see are issues where technology can support as practical solution, what they think might be challenges to adoption, and technologies that may have an appeal and how to roll out sustainable.
