Hi all. We are planning to run another Clinical Digital Academy in November 2020. Just letting Waitemata DHB or district (primary care and others) CiLN members know - if you would like to nominate people to attend, like to attend yourself, or would like to help us plan or teach the course, then please get in touch with me via email. We are planning a process to apply so that we can try to get a cross section of disciplines and parts of the business.
Thanks, Robyn Whittaker
Actually, if you are wanting to get involved in anything else clinical IT wise at the DHB - feel free to message me to flag your interest
Sounds awesome Inga
Would you run it and how many numbers would we need?
Speaking of which you are just up the road at Massey perhaps we can meet up and discuss further?
@chrisdaynes, I have no idea but I can talk with Robyn. We would need to talk with Greig Russel as well.
@chrisdaynes unfortunately after further discussion this is not an option at our DHB at the moment so considering Robyn’s CDA is the best option for now.
Hi Janet
We teach a small group of multidisciplinary clinicians about our health information systems and ecosystem, some key principles like privacy and security, user centred design, evaluation methods, plus some hands on eg. Qlik, forms building. It is designed to foster clinical IT champions and encourage further learning or roles with i3 on clinical IT projects. We will be putting out an ad soon internally.
Hi both. Happy to talk to someone at your DHB if that would help? Our CDA is predominantly for Waitemata staff but I am talking with people about various ways we could do it with other DHBs or have a few non-Waitemata people on it.
I’m a bit heavily committed for this September, but could certainly do October and onwards. I have a talk that is mostly done about clinical communication technologies from the users’ perspectives if that helps ?
