Over the past few years, there has been an almost exponential increase in the volume
of literature related to the field of medical artificial intelligence.
Translation of this research into everyday clinical practice has, however, arguably been slow.
This year’s symposium aims to take a deeper dive into the challenges faced by organisations seeking to bridge this gap.
The symposium will attempt to address questions such as:
- What is the current landscape for the state of clinical implementation of AI?
- What does a possible learning journey from non-technical novice to ‘learned observer’ look like?
- What are the potential strategies to overcome the barriers to implementation of AI technologies in healthcare?
- How can technologists better understand and interact with healthcare workers?
- How do you make sense of AI in the context of clinical care delivery?
We look forward to seeing you at the symposium and an engaging discussion!
