MidCentral is in the process of renewing its district research strategy. In reality, we are completely re-writing the strategy to reflect our evolving values and priorities. The new strategy is being built from the ground up in partnership with our local Iwi and it will be radically better for their leadership.

I am keen to learn from the experience of other DHBs from around the country. I was wondering if anyone in the group had developed a research strategy for their DHB and would be willing to share it.

Greg, I’m not sure that we as a community of clinical informaticians (as opposed to researchers) can really help too much sorry.

Thanks, Nathan. I was getting that impression as well. Which as an informatician who does research was mildly surprising to me. Equally, I have huge respect for the people in this community so it seemed a reasonable question to ask.
