Rather than trying to upgrade our existing MedTech devices to include IoT capability, perhaps we could use FingerBot like devices as a tactical solution? Think of it as the “RPA of IoT”. I can think of plenty of use-cases in a clinical setting!
And yes, RPA (or other IA solutions) could complement this really well - destroying the boundary between software and physical devices.
