Silver lining of COVID is clearly promoting more efficient use of systems. My portal inbox this morning with the Manual Screening items of most new note.

One diagnosed with diabetes with glucose high 20’s to 30 last week (Very high) sending me his blood sugars and we alter insulin based on that. Goes straight into my PMS

The other and elderly woman with CHF, children using MMH on her behalf. Updates on her weight so titration of diuretics for good fluid balance.

Are other GPs using portal to get data from patients and acting on it?

I have been promoting to my patients prior to Covid but only a few seemed to have taken it up. Some with almost too much exuberance with daily weights and BP. Find the download screening process less clear as do not seem to immediately see the measures to know they actually did download . Would be good to have a close the loop notification
